Audi Brake Service in Apex, NC

I’m Dave Garcia, owner and master technician at Hyperformance Garage. I service brakes on Audi cars, quattro models, and S and RS cars, from pad replacement to full brake jobs with rotors and fluid. Brakes are safety equipment, so I don’t guess: I measure, inspect, and show you what I find before I quote anything. Tell me what your Audi is doing and I’ll send you a free written quote. I reply personally to every request.

What Audi brake service includes

  • Brake pad replacement, front and rear
  • Rotor replacement when rotors are worn, scored, or below spec
  • Brake fluid exchange
  • Caliper, hose, and brake line inspection
  • Pad thickness and rotor condition measured and documented
  • Road test to confirm pedal feel and stopping performance

My process

  1. I inspect the whole system first: pad thickness, rotor condition, fluid condition, calipers, and hoses.
  2. You get a written quote before I touch anything: the problem, the fix, and the cost, spelled out. No surprises and no pressure.
  3. I replace what’s worn with OEM or better parts, clean the caliper contact points, and torque everything to spec.
  4. If the brake fluid is due, I exchange it and bleed the system properly.
  5. I road test the car, then you get a written report with photos of what I found and what I did.

FAQ

How do I know my Audi needs brake work?

The usual signs: squealing, grinding, a vibration when braking, a brake warning on the dash, or a pedal that feels soft or travels farther than it used to. If any of that sounds familiar, tell me and I’ll take a look.

Do I need new rotors with new pads?

Only if the rotors need them. I measure rotor thickness and check for scoring and warping, and I show you the numbers. If the rotors are healthy, pads alone are the honest fix.

What parts do you use?

OEM or better parts. Your written report lists everything that went on the car.

How often does brake fluid need to be changed?

Audi calls for fresh brake fluid every two years, regardless of mileage. Old fluid absorbs moisture, which hurts braking performance. I check its condition as part of any brake inspection.

Is there a diagnostic fee to check my brakes?

No. Diagnosis is part of the free quote. I inspect the system, tell you what is actually wrong, and give you the price in writing before any work starts.
